by demand.. here's some more pics...
A view of the parking lot at work (no Rolls Royces to be found):

Another view of our work "container"... The bridge in the background connects the islands of Haramsøy (where the ferry docks) and Longva (where I work):

A shot of the island of Longva from the back of the boat.. the Rolls Royce site is somewhere in the middle of the island:

A nice church (probably Lutheran, 90% of Norwegians are) on the island of Haramsøy:

Man Michael, it seems like such a hard country with cold wind-blow contours and grasses that are scratched into the weathered rock. The people must understand the earth here because it does more to them than they do to it... The villages sit where they can, and the people come home to them because they have no other places to be. You must prepare yourself to visit the outside! It must make you sure of one thing: interface! Sorry - just went off a bit! Dad

really though i'm just happy there's sunshine. but i think we'll need to buy owen a watch--the only way i can even get him going on his bedtime routine is to insist that yes, it is night time and he only believes me because it's dark outside.
