and speaking of harvest

today we went down to the harvest festival where owen got to hug three sheep, take two pony rides and milk one pretend cow. edy & jerry (of the "you've got a beard!" fame) came out for the day and joined us for the fall frolicking and some ribs and spicy sausages (and of course cotton candy). here's a still slideshow from the afternoon:
